Peran Karang Taruna Dalam Kegiatan Sosial Masyarakat Selama Masa Pandemi Covid-19

Youth’s awareness of the dangers of covid-19, that was declared a global pandemic by WHO, is important as to minimize the spread of the virus through community social activities. The activities can be seen, among other things, in villages and the role of young generation in social activities of a village is very important. This role is taken by a youth organization called Karang Taruna. It is one of the organizations that exists in many villages and plays an important role in realizing the programs planned by a village, local government and central government. The purpose of this study is, then, to investigate the participation of Karang Taruna in the social activities in Bungkulan Village, Sawan Sub-Regency, Buleleng Regency. Interviews were conducted in this study to directly obtain useful data from informants. It is clearly seen from the analyses that the Karang Taruna in Bungkulan Village participate actively and effectively in the village’s social activities.
